The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that a suicide bomber targeted the convoy, resulting in a devastating explosion and the loss of these two heroes. Hailing from Kohat district, Shakeel, aged 38, and Naveed, aged 34, exemplified courage and dedication to their duty.
The ISPR vowed to bring the perpetrators of this despicable act to justice, underscoring the unwavering determination of the security forces to eradicate terrorism from the region. In another operation in Panjgur district, Balochistan, security forces dealt a significant blow to terrorism by neutralizing a notorious terrorist, Chakar Liaquat, and injuring two of his associates. Liaquat, wanted for his involvement in various terrorist activities, was eliminated during an exchange of fire, with weapons and ammunition seized from his possession.
Meanwhile, discussions between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and army chief General Syed Asim Munir in Islamabad revolved around national security, military operations, and foreign relations.
