An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has slated April 8th as the day to indict Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, and additional accused individuals in three cases stemming from events on May 9th last year.
The cases involve attacks on various sites, including the PML-N office, the burning of a container at Kalma Chowk, and the torching of three police vans at Sherpao bridge.
During the hearing presided over by ATC Judge Arshad Javed, PTI leaders and other accused parties were present, including Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed and Senator Ijaz Chaudhry.
The court has ensured that copies of the chargesheet have been provided to all involved, with the formal trial set to commence subsequent to the indictment.
