In a significant intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Panjgur, security forces successfully neutralized one of the most wanted terrorists, Chakar Liaquat, according to a report from ISPR.
The operation, aimed at targeting terrorist elements in the area, resulted in Liaquat’s elimination while two others sustained injuries. Alongside apprehending the terrorist, weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also seized, underscoring the significant threat Liaquat posed to the region through his involvement in various terrorist activities.
Furthermore, a thorough sanitization operation is underway to root out any remaining terrorists in the area. Local residents have lauded the operation, showing unwavering support for the security forces’ efforts in combating terrorism and restoring peace in the region.
This successful operation follows closely on the heels of another significant achievement earlier in the week, where security forces eliminated a high-value target, terrorist commander Sehra alias Janan, along with eight other terrorists in North Waziristan. Sehra, responsible for orchestrating a recent attack on security forces, was a prime target for law enforcement agencies.
The relentless efforts of security forces highlight the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of citizens across the country.
