Pak Hajj App Released By IT Ministry to Help Pilgrims

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications has digitalized Hajj operations for pilgrims and created a mobile app quickly to make Hajj pilgrims’ lives easier (MoITT). 

Together, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed and Caretaker Minister for IT Dr Umar Saif launched the National Information Technology Board (NITB) application on Wednesday. During the welcoming speech, Babar Majeed Bhatti, CEO of NITB, gave a briefing to the attendees regarding the application.

Speaking at the event, Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunications Dr. Umar Saif stated that the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) directives have sped up the nation’s digitalization process. In this regard, the release of the Hajj application marks a significant achievement.
