The Senior Special Magistrate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) took decisive action, sealing three key offices of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) due to alleged non-payment of taxes owed to the civic authority. Sardar Mohammad Asif spearheaded the move, sealing the buildings situated in sectors G-7, G-6, and F-8.

According to Raja Asim, the spokesperson for IESCO, the company had indeed issued notices to CDA concerning outstanding payments. In response to the sealing of their offices, Asim confirmed the development and expressed optimism about resolving the issue through discussions between teams from both entities. He anticipated a prompt resolution that would lead to the reopening of all sealed offices.

As part of the efforts to address this matter, senior officials from IESCO and the CDA are actively engaged in negotiations, striving to swiftly resolve the pending payment concerns and reach an amicable resolution.
