Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 13C, just days after it made an appearance on Amazon. Notably, the Redmi 13C seems to be a counterpart to the recently launched POCO C65 by Xiaomi earlier in the week, sharing almost identical specifications.
Under the hood, the Redmi 13C houses the same MediaTek Helio G85 chipset found in the Redmi 12C, currently priced at $93.99 on Amazon. While the core features remain consistent, Xiaomi has introduced some tweaks, such as the addition of new color options, including Clover Green, Glacier White, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black. The Redmi 13C also offers flexibility with three memory configurations – 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, or 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage.
The smartphone sports a 6.74-inch display with a 720p resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Despite the larger screen, the Redmi 13C’s dimensions are only slightly increased compared to its predecessor, measuring 168 x 78 x 8.1 mm. Weighing in at 192 g, it mirrors the weight of the Redmi 12C. Notable improvements include the inclusion of a USB 2.0 Type-C port, absent in its predecessor, and support for up to 18 W wired charging.
