The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Home Affairs has made thorough preparations for the upcoming MDCAT test set to take place on November 26 across the region. In order to ensure a smooth and well-organized conduct of the test, the Department of Interior in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued guidelines.

Test Centers:

For the convenience of MDCAT test takers, examination centers will be set up in various locations, including Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad. In total, there will be 11 examination centers spread across all districts, including Peshawar. Peshawar Police will oversee the printing and other essential aspects of the MD CAT test, while Khyber Medical University will provide information about the examination staff’s responsibilities.

Secure Transport of Examination Materials:

The transport of examination materials from Khyber Medical University to the examination centers will be closely monitored by the police, with support from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to ensure security. This will include the use of walk-through gates at the exam centers.

Deployment of Female Police Officers:

In addition to security measures, female police officers will be stationed at the examination venues, and the Traffic Department will manage traffic in the vicinity of the examination halls. During the test hours, mobile tower services near the centers will be temporarily suspended.

Maintaining Exam Integrity:

Administrative officers from different departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not be involved in exam-related matters in order to preserve the integrity of the exam process. As instructed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Department of Home Affairs and Interior, the police will only concentrate on security-related tasks.

CCTV Camera Installation:

Furthermore, the installation of CCTV cameras in all designated examination centers within the province is planned. The use of mobile phones will be strictly prohibited for both staff and students during the exam.

Emergency Assistance:

In the event of any emergencies, the Health Department will assist, and the Deputy Commissioners of all seven districts will act as Regional Coordinator Officers. The Department of Interior in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has emphasized cooperation and coordination among relevant institutions to ensure the successful execution of the MD CAT test.
