In a groundbreaking move aimed at addressing the housing needs of low-income individuals, Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the ‘Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ project. This initiative, unveiled during a meeting in Lahore, marks a significant step towards providing affordable housing solutions for the populace.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the ‘Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ project outlines a comprehensive plan to construct 100,000 houses across Punjab. Each district is slated to receive over 3,000 homes tailored to accommodate the needs of low-income families.

A key aspect of this initiative is its focus on affordability. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed officials to ensure that model houses are built within six weeks, with a particular emphasis on keeping down payments and monthly installments feasible for the target demographic.

Moreover, sustainability and construction standards are paramount in the project’s execution. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to prioritize these factors, underscoring the commitment to delivering quality housing solutions that endure the test of time.

In addition to the housing initiative, the ‘Sarkein Bahaal-Punjab Khushaal’ project has been launched, further demonstrating the government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and improving living standards across the province.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also placed a strong emphasis on infrastructure development, particularly in road projects and bridges. Urging swift action, she has mandated the completion of road projects and called for surveys to facilitate the construction and rehabilitation of road bridges.
