The prime minister expressed heartfelt grief over the deaths of innocent persons in the event on Saturday.
He prayed for the souls of the departed as well as strength for the bereaved families to bear this loss. The PM stated that terrorists’ targeting on innocent citizens demonstrated their cowardice and that their wicked plans to destabilize Gilgit-Baltistan’s peace would fail.

He also stated that the fight against terrorists would continue until terrorism was completely eradicated from the country.
On Saturday evening, unidentified assailants opened fire on a passenger bus in Chilas, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), killing at least nine passengers and injuring 25 others. He prayed for those who had died.
