Easypaisa, the digital financial services provider, has released a statement in response to Telenor Pakistan’s sale to PTCL, assuring its customers that its operations remain unaffected by the transaction.
“Regarding recent news of Telenor Pakistan’s sale, we want to assure our valued customers that our operations remain unchanged. Telenor Microfinance Bank (TMB) and its flagship platform, Easypaisa, are not part of this transaction. Your deposits are completely secure, and this development will not impact them,” the company affirmed in a tweet on X.

Highlighting its independent status as a financial institution licensed and governed by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Easypaisa emphasized its commitment to transformation, supported by shareholders Telenor B.V. and Ant Group, subject to regulatory approvals.
