During a press briefing in Washington, Matthew Miller, the American spokesperson for the Department of State, firmly addressed queries regarding the meeting of the American ambassador with the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in jail. Miller emphasized that neither Pakistan nor any other country holds positions for political candidates in its government.
In relation to the safeguarding of Afghan citizens awaiting American visas, Miller underscored the close and ongoing communication between the Pakistani government and the US regarding this matter.

Furthermore, he expressed support for the announcement of four new programs to be initiated for Pakistan, as conveyed by the American ambassador.
Miller also highlighted plans for support and training for Balochistan Police, allocating four million dollars for training schools.
