The swearing-in event, graced by dignitaries including Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and senior minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, marked the official transition of power from former Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, who retired a day prior after a commendable 13-year tenure, holding the position for two years and eight months.

Justice Khan, a distinguished legal figure, assumes the prestigious role, set to serve until March 2025, at which point he will retire upon reaching the age of 62. The esteemed Justice Khan previously served as the acting LHC CJ on a temporary basis, stepping in during a period of transition.
