It seems there’s news about Imran Khan and the Al-Qadir Trust scandal. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been granted permission by an accountability court to investigate Imran Khan, the PTI Chairman, for three days within the context of the 190-million-pound Al-Qadir Trust scandal.

According to NAB’s claims mentioned in the order, Imran Khan allegedly returned money that was purportedly taken from Pakistan to the accused involved in the case. The bureau alleges that Imran Khan obtained land and money for the Al-Qadir Trust and has concrete evidence indicating corruption on his part.

NAB has requested physical remand to further investigate the case, although Imran Khan denies having received any financial benefits. He stated that if they were able to prove money laundering, it would cost around 100 million pounds. The court has permitted NAB officials to interrogate Imran Khan in jail for three days, with the next hearing scheduled for November 17 regarding the request for physical remand.

Moreover, the interim bail for Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, has been extended until November 17 in both the Toshakhana and the 190-million-pound Al-Qadir Trust cases. During the proceedings, in the absence of Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, the judge inquired about her whereabouts, but the National Accountability Bureau prosecutor was unaware, as a different counsel, Sardar Latif Khosa, was representing her in the case.
