In a distressing incident in Faisalabad, a gas cylinder explosion followed by a roof collapse in a house situated at Chak No.202-RB Ghatti, Jhumra Road has left eight individuals injured, including three minors. The incident occurred due to a gas cylinder catching fire after a leakage, leading to a catastrophic collapse of the roof.

The victims, identified as Asad Mushtaq (33), Qaisar Mushtaq (35), Firdous Qaisar (7), Usman Qaisar (2), Fazal Muhammad (60), Ali Hassan (40), Raheela Ali Hassan (28), and Abbas Ali Hassan (6), sustained multiple injuries in the accident.

Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 swiftly responded, rescuing the victims trapped under the debris and providing them with immediate medical aid before transporting them to Allied Hospital for further treatment.

This incident comes on the heels of a gas leakage explosion earlier today in Quetta, claiming three lives and injuring two others. Such accidents highlight the critical need for stringent safety measures and awareness regarding gas cylinder handling and maintenance to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Additionally, recent incidents, including one in Karachi Central Jail, underscore the importance of ensuring gas safety protocols in residential areas to safeguard lives and property from potential hazards.

Authorities continue to investigate the causes of these accidents while emphasizing the importance of public vigilance and adherence to safety guidelines to mitigate the risks associated with gas-related incidents.
