In a recent development, the Islamabad District and Sessions Court, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, has taken decisive action regarding PTI founder Imran Khan‘s appearance in six bail cases involving former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.

Despite the court’s explicit instructions, Imran Khan’s appearance via video link was not facilitated by the Adiala Jail authorities. Consequently, the court has issued production orders for Imran Khan to be presented on April 4, emphasizing the importance of his presence in the proceedings.

Previously, the court had directed the Adiala Jail authorities to ensure the functionality of the video link system for Imran Khan’s appearance, a directive that was unfortunately disregarded.

The cases against Imran Khan span several police stations, including Tarnool, Ramna, Secretariat, Kohsar, and Karachi. Meanwhile, a separate case concerning alleged fake receipts from Tosha Khana has been registered against Bushra Bibi at the Kohsar police station.

The court’s firm stance underscores the significance of upholding legal procedures and ensuring the participation of all relevant parties in the pursuit of justice.
