Honda has presented its electric scooter ‘BENLEY e’ during a soft launch at its Sheikhupura factory, adding another major contribution to Pakistan’s rapidly burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) sector.
However, the general public will not be able to purchase the electric scooter anytime soon because the company would first just provide it for test marketing purposes. During the event, Noriaki Abe, Atlas Honda’s Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products, mentioned this.

According to an industry source familiar with the situation, Honda intends to commercially offer e-bikes to organizations with big fleets of bikes, such as food delivery services and courier services.
