Vivo has introduced its latest lineup in China, featuring the S18, S18 Pro, and the budget-friendly S18e. These phones distinguish themselves primarily through their chipsets, camera setups, and display specifications.
Here’s a breakdown of their key features:
Vivo S18 and S18 Pro
Both models in the S18 series showcase a distinctive design with brocade patterns etched onto the rear glass panel. The camera module divides into two square sections: the upper square housing the camera lenses, and the lower section encompassing the customizable AuraLight LED and a separate LED flash. The AuraLight feature offers adjustable lighting intensities and temperatures for various photography environments.
The S18 and S18 Pro boast curved 6.78-inch AMOLED screens with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Their front cameras, nestled in punch-hole designs, feature a 50MP lens with a 90-degree field of view and autofocus, complemented by dual soft LED flash sensors for enhanced selfie lighting.
The S18 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup: a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens with a Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

Meanwhile, the standard S18 model includes a 50MP main camera featuring an OmniVision OV50E sensor and OIS, along with an 8MP ultrawide lens featuring an OmniVision OV08D10 sensor.
The S18 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset, offering configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. In contrast, the standard S18 model features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, also supporting configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Both models operate on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and pack 5,000 mAh batteries supporting 80W fast charging.
Color options for the S18 and S18 Pro include black, green, and silver. The S18 starts at $322 for the 8/256GB model, reaching $420 for the 16/512GB variant, while the S18 Pro begins at approximately $448 for the 12/256GB version, ascending to $518 for the 16/512GB model.
Vivo S18e
The S18e features a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a 16MP front-facing camera in a punch-hole cutout and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with a 2MP depth sensor on the rear.

Powered by a Dimensity 7200 chipset, coupled with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage options, the S18e operates on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. It’s equipped with a 4,800 mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging.
Color choices for the S18e encompass black, silver, and purple. Its pricing starts at $294 for the 12/256GB variant and $322 for the 12/512GB configuration.
