The EU will not deploy a complete election observation mission to the polls on February 8th

The European Union (EU) has informed the government that, due to scheduling constraints, it will be unable to send a full election observation mission, as it did in 2018, and would also be unable to give recommendations following the conclusion of the February 8 elections. 

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has invited observers to the election next year. The EU Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has visited the country five times to monitor voting.
