In anticipation of the holy month of Ramadan, the Establishment Division has issued a notification outlining updated working hours for federal government offices. The new schedule aims to accommodate fasting individuals while ensuring the continued efficiency of government operations.

According to the notification, federal government offices operating five days a week will function from 9am to 3pm, while those operating six days a week will be open from 9am to 2pm. Additionally, on Fridays, government offices will operate from 9am to 12:30pm, aligning with shorter working hours traditionally observed due to Friday prayers.

The nation prepares to embark on the month-long journey of fasting, with the potential start of Ramadan anticipated on March 11 based on astronomical observations. This unique occurrence, with Ramadan commencing in March after 26 years, brings a cooler atmosphere to the month of fasting, offering a distinctive experience for Muslims.
