PTI Leader Omar Ayub Denounces Presidential Election, Calls for Nullification

Rate this post

PTI leader Omar Ayub has vehemently rejected the ongoing presidential election, urging authorities to declare Asif Ali Zardari’s potential victory null and void. Ayub criticized the electoral process, stating that Zardari’s candidacy is unfit due to his age and health condition, advocating for a mentally fit individual to hold the presidential office.

He further demanded the immediate release of PTI’s founder and Bushra Bibi from jail, alleging the unjust seizure of assembly seats through what he described as a “daylight robbery.” Ayub also denounced the authority of issuing pro-state or anti-state certificates, arguing that such power lies with the people, not individuals like the Speaker of the National Assembly.

He claimed that election results documented in Form 47 have been tampered with, challenging authorities to hold elections again in contested constituencies to ascertain the truth. Ayub’s remarks underscore PTI’s discontent with the electoral process and their call for transparency and fairness in elections.
