NAB asserts its ‘inability’ to litigate the case and withdraws its appeal against acquittal in the Flagship case. Counsel said there is no clear evidence that the PML-N leader owns homes in London. The IHC division bench, which included Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, also dismissed an appeal filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Mr Sharif’s acquittal in the Flagship Investment case after the bureau lawyer stated that the bureau was not interested in pursuing this appeal.
