More Gas and Condensate Discovered by OGDCL in Sindh

The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC), in collaboration with Government Holdings (Private) Limited (22.5 percent carried), discovered gas and condensate during its exploratory efforts in the “C” Sands of the Lower Goru Formation over Development Well Dars West #02 in the district Tando Allah Yar, Sindh.

Dars West Well # 02 was discovered as a result of the Company’s aggressive exploration approach. According to the document, it would increase the OGDCL, Joint Venture Partners, and Country’s hydrocarbon reserves base.

The well was dug to a depth of 2,081 meters. The well tested for 8.51 MMSCFD gas and 360 BPD condensate with a choke size of 32/64 inch and a well head flow pressure of 1,947 psi.
