Starting on Wednesday, candidates can submit their nomination papers to run in the general elections of 2024. Candidates may obtain and turn in nomination papers until 4:30 p.m. on December 22, in accordance with the ECP schedule.

On December 23, the preliminary list of candidates will be made public. From December 24 to December 30, nomination papers will be scrutinised.
According to the schedule, general election polling will take place on February 8, and candidates will receive their electoral logo on January 13.
