Upon completion, the message is sent by tapping the send button. These View Once voice messages, like their visual counterparts, are distinguishable by a “one-time” icon and are encrypted end-to-end by default.

The global rollout for View Once voice messages will unfold in the coming days. If the update hasn’t reached your WhatsApp yet, it’s likely due to delayed regional availability or using older software, which often receives updates later.
