Islamabad will launch an electric bus service on 13 routes next year

In the first phase, 30 buses will arrive in Pakistan in January, with the remainder arriving in February and March. Chairman CDA asked the competent officials to ensure that the buses arrived on time. He was informed that 160 electric buses from China would be imported.

The bus service will be officially launched soon after the arrival of the first fleet of buses, which will run on 13 routes around the federal capital.

In addition, the CDA will begin building of the main bus terminal at Zero Point along the Srinagar Highway towards the H-8 side in the coming days. The construction process will take six months.
