MG Pakistan has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) lineup, unveiling the latest addition, the MG4, at a launch event held in Karachi.

The car is introduced in two distinct variants: the ‘Excite’ serving as the base model, and the top-tier ‘Essence.’

Originally debuting in China as the MG Mulan earlier this year, the MG4 boasts impressive specs. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds, powered by a robust motor delivering up to 200 hp and a maximum torque of 250NM. With its Rear-Wheel-Drive system, a 10.25″ digital touchscreen integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Vehicle to Load capabilities, and the MG Pilot active safety suite, it offers a comprehensive and advanced driving experience.

Charging efficiency is a standout feature, with claims of reaching 80% charge from 10% in a mere 35 minutes using a fast charger. Both variants of the MG4 are equipped with different batteries, providing varying ranges.

The MG4 Excite features a 51 kWh battery offering an impressive 350 km range, priced at PKR 10,999,000 (excluding freight & withholding tax). Meanwhile, the MG4 Essence, priced at PKR 12,990,000 (excluding freight & withholding tax), houses a 64 kWh battery providing an exceptional 450 km range, ideal for inter-city travel, especially on highways.
With availability at all MG dealerships across Pakistan, the MG4 marks a significant addition to the country’s EV landscape, offering advanced features and a promising range for electric vehicle enthusiasts.
